The New World Professional Basketball League was implemented to help give young men the opportunity to establish a career in Professional Basketball. The NWPBL wants our young men to become successful on and off the court. We would like for our players to become more than just athletes, thus the NWPBL will have in place employment opportunities, educational programs as well as mentoring programs to help teach our young men how to become better equip to serve the youth and also citizens in the towns/cities in which they represent. |

The New World Professional Basketball League will host its' 1st Annual Hoop Festival May 24-25 , 2008 in Jackson, Tennessee. The event will feature a Pro Am Tournament for the first 24 team's who submit their registration fee by May 9, 2008. |

The NWPBL All Stars will play a Celebrity Exhibition game with the Streetball Invasion Allstar's. The event is scheduled to take place on June 9, 2008. The event will feature players from the AND 1 Tour. Players who are scehduled to play are "Hotsauce", "The Professor", Elevator and Circus just to name a few. |
